LEAF Community at the international round table on Italian Design at the Emily Carr University in Vancouver

Last night in Vancouver at 6 pm local time (3am in Italy), the LEAF Community partecipated at the international round table, organized by the Minister Foreign Affairs and the Institute of Italian Culture in Vancouver at Emily Carr Univesity.

Coordinated by Prof. Russel Taylor (School of interactive arts and Technology at Simon Fraser Univeristy), design: italian design, industrial design and process were the key topics. Following the initial welcoming of the General Consul of Italy in Vancouver Francesco di Conno, speeches by the panel of experts composed by:

Conclusion remarks by Prof.ssa Lousie St. Pierre – Vice Dean, Faculty and Design, Emily Carr University.

A definately interesting evening for over 100 partecipants: architects, students, institutional figures such as the General Consul Francesco De Conno, Minister erta Alberta Lai, Minister Renza Fornaroli in a evening dedicated to the Italian design, represented not only by fashion and furniture, but from technology and innovation.
